Position Overview: The HR Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources & Risk Management.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate arrangements for special meetings and training on an as needed basis
Coordinate and monitor background checks and drug screenings
Track and maintain compliance training records and certifications
Process and track HR-related invoices, ensuring proper coding, accuracy and timely payment
Support the HR team in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company policies
Assist with data entry, reporting, and audits as needed
Respond to basic employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate HR staff
Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and maintaining spreadsheets and other documents

Requirements:
High school diploma
Excellent communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality with sensitive items
Positive attitude and the ability to work with and learn from others
Computer skills to include: word processing and spreadsheet applications
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Skill in organizing and establishing priorities
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload accordingly

Qualifications that are a plus:
Knowledge of Construction industry
Experience with Google Suite
