Responsibilities

Provides administrative assistance to Department Director and staff in the Cancer Center department. Central coordinator that is responsible for managing case scheduling and preparation in conjunction with multidisciplinary providers. Manages tumor board requests obtains pathology slides reports and imaging as required. Prepares supporting documentation and summary of each case presented at tumor board provides and manages returned CME submissions. The secretary works closely with Tumor Registry department in maintaining accreditations guidelines and documentation. Responsible for supply ordering check requests and special orders.

Qualifications

Minimum:
Three (3) years of secretarial or administrative experience in health care setting.
Oncology experience.
Medical Terminology.
Typing 40 WPM.
Time and Priority Management. Ability to work independently handle multiple demands and multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to adapt and work with diverse team of medical professionals.
Communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent public relations presence and professional level interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Some college courses in business preferred.

Pay Range
$23.87 – $32.82 /hour
