Position Summary
The Pediatric Genetics and Metabolism department is seeking a full-time Administrative Support Specialist to join our administrative team. This role will provide essential support to our clinical teams by performing a variety of administrative tasks, including: gathering clinical records, maintaining provider and learner schedules, preparing orders, managing various logs and mailing lists, supporting candidate interviews, and assisting with quality improvement and patient care initiatives.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the capacity to manage competing priorities and make critical decisions under pressure, flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work setting, and proficiency in office operations (e.g., telephone and fax systems, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Recent administrative experience in a large clinical-academic setting, the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, and a commitment to teamwork and customer service excellence.
