Primary Objective: This position is a key employee of the company responsible for timely and courteous interaction with all clients and visitors. This employee maintains the showroom and appointment calendar and is responsible for helping to track all phases of a project from initial contact through the end of the project and warranty phase. Employee must enjoy working with a variety of clients and providing excellent service to all clients who are engaging with the company for our design build expertise.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job the employee is most often in an office setting.

Essential Skills

Greet and screen clients to determine desired scope, budget and materials for projects and coordinates appointment with the design staff.
Performs a variety of clerical functions in the office as necessary to include answering phones, greeting visitors and vendors and other tasks as needed.
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. Maintains samples and literature and cleanliness of showroom.
Helps Develop and cultivate customer/client relationships resulting in sales and future referrals.
Works with the Customer Service Manager to help coordinate lead scheduling and all tracking of activities from first contact through completion of project.
Participates in the planning and execution of Sales Exhibits and shows as needed.

Physical Demands

The duties include office work, frequent computer and telephone access. Requires lifting, standing, walking, climbing and stooping. Occasional lifting to include up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is an hourly fulltime position. Days and hours of work vary on a daily basis. Office hours typically are maintained between the hours of 8am and 5 pm.

Preferred Education and Experience

An Associates degree in business management, landscape design and/ or construction management field.

Ability to learn and retain a working knowledge of Construction , design trends , and product offerings.

Expertise in a variety of business related fields such as Human Resources and Bookkeeping is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
