Job Description
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately entering and maintaining data related to our countertop fabrication projects and assisting with phone duties to support our customer service efforts. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry:
Accurately input data into our computer systems, including project details, customer information, and inventory records.
Update and maintain existing records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Organize and categorize digital and physical documents related to countertop fabrication projects.
Phone Duties:
Professionally answer and manage incoming phone calls, providing information and assistance to customers and clients.
Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate department or team members.
Customer Service:
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries promptly and courteously.
Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor when interacting with customers over the phone or in person.
Administrative Support:
Assist in maintaining and organizing paperwork, documents, and files related to countertop fabrication projects.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth project transitions and data sharing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or a relevant certification is a plus.
Previous data entry experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency using computer software and data entry tools.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Working Conditions
Office-based role with regular use of a computer and phone.
Potential exposure to a manufacturing environment when visiting the fabrication facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 – $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
