About you

If you have a passion for detailed work, you are always asking for new and challenging projects, you have experience with legal or government administration (or similar) AND you have a love for the outdoors, then we have your next job. This position is responsible for day-to-day administration and coordination of the Realestate transaction between Voyager Village and land buyers/sellers, as well as other special projects supporting the Voyager Village POA Membership office. As a small office, you will also have the opportunity to learn other roles, take on new responsibilities as we grow, and help us shape our own future. All of this while nestles in the Northwoods.

Ideal candidate has a background or exposure to one or more of the following fields: paralegal, Real Estate, government administration, contract review, research and analytical investigation using government and private sector websites and sources.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking pending property closings, identify new owners on Burnett County website, update member numbering chart, update/create Voyager Village records; route information to both other staff/departments for further processing and collections/payment.
  • Monitor government and public websites on property tax payments for notice of delinquent Voyager Village membership accounts; work with other staff to minimize the impact of delinquent accounts.
  • Monitor government and public website for public notices relating to Burnett County taking property on tax deed and/or auctioning County-owned Voyager Village properties.
  • Track all Burnett County land auctions of Voyager Village properties.
  • Manage deed back process.
  • Prepare MN Dept of Commerce Annual Report.
  • Audit our partner’s and other system data (public records) for accurate property records.
  • Prepare and efile Maintenance Lien Statements.
  • Prepare and efile Satisfaction of Lien Statements, including liens filed originally by outside counsel.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Pay: $11.00 – $20.00 per hour
