Full Job Description

The Office Manager plays a key role in maintaining the smooth and compliant operation of our family chiropractic office by managing billing functions, marketing support, administrative operations, and interdepartmental communications. Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, organized, and reliable are necessary qualities. Learn each staff person’s responsibility fully so as to best oversee and be able to cross-cover when necessary. Abide by policies for HIPAA, OSHA and Medicare compliance

Managing billing:

Verify insurance benefits

Obtain pre-authorizations on time for insurance companies

Assist in collecting patient balances and outstanding invoices in a timely manner

Ensure billing was submitted accurately by providers on a daily basis

Prepare & analyze monthly reports & metrics; use these reports to set clinic goals

Marketing Support:

Maintain & foster a working relationship with other local professionals such as pediatricians & family practice providers, midwives, doulas, lactation specialists, and OBs

Discover local marketing events for our team to participate

Order supplies for marketing events

Administrative Operations:

Maintain inventory and order supplies

Review and update while abiding by office policies as outlined in Employment Manual and Operations Manual

Continually develop and implement Policies & Procedures for ACCR

Maintenance of building and office space

Assist with flow of front desk when needed

Supervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collections, data entry and processing, and payment posting.

Managing team members:

Assist in HR needs such as hiring & training new team members

Foster and grow a warm working relationship with owner and full office team

Manage office staff by resolving minor issues, ensuring positions are appropriately staffed.

Assess employee performance review

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
