Responsibilities:

Communicates effectively on the telephone with patients, families and staff.

Answers incoming calls and forwards to appropriate staff person or takes a message if the person is not available.

Manages incoming, outgoing and inter office mail.

Scans data to Central Medical Records and other required recipients

Responsible for informing staff of any changes, updates, etc., regarding admissions; discharges, visits, schedules; and clinical meetings as directed by the Clinical Leader, Director of Clinical Services and/or Administrator.

Tracks admission, discharge, IDTs, certification and re-certification dates on all patients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Basic knowledge of office machines.

Ability to meet the public and staff as a positive, friendly and professional representative of the agency.

Effective social interaction, communication and organizational skills and the ability to perform a variety of tasks efficiently.

Pay: $13.00 – $17.00 per hour
