**Overview:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team at a small construction company. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various administrative functions. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation:

$25 hourly

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.

Coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, booking appointments, and organizing travel arrangements for staff.

Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.

Assist with payroll processing, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including distribution and shipping.

Maintain and update filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of documents.

Assist with HR tasks such as employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating employee events.

Serve as the point of contact for office maintenance, IT support, and other service providers.

Assist project managers with administrative tasks related to project documentation, subcontractor agreements, and permits.

Support the management team with special projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in office administration or management, preferably in the construction industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office management software.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.

A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
