Front Desk Agent
Job Description:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for the guest experience in a fast-paced environment. You will provide a friendly, professional, and courteous experience to all guests and employees. This position is ideal for a person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and likes to work with people.
ABLE TO WORK 7:00AM-3:00PM, 3:00PM-11:00PM, 11:00PM-7:00AM SHIFTS.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate area of the hotel
Answer phones, take messages, and redirect calls to the appropriate department
Provide information about hotel services and amenities
Check in and out of guests, ensuring all requests are met promptly and professionally
Check guest out of the hotel and the facility following up with guest complaints or concerns
Make reservations and collect payment for rooms and suites when necessary
Escalate to higher level if staff shortages, emergencies, or conflicting information
Track cash drawer, reconcile, and ensure it is in good working order at all times
Accurately record deposits when made
Prepare checklists for checkins and alterations as needed
Clean drop off areas as needed throughout the day
Restock supplies when necessary (combs, soap, paper supplies)
Assist with light cleaning throughout the day as directed by supervisor
Complete other tasks as assigned by management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 – $12.00 per hour
