We are looking for a fantastic Office Manager to coordinate the day-to-day office based operations of the CEFC’s Sydney office, ensuring it runs smoothly, professionally and efficiently.
You’ll be working in a fast paced, high performing environment, where around 65 to 70 people are based, along with interstate colleagues regularly travelling in for meetings and committees.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Operations, you’ll work closely with the Sydney Office Administration Assistant and collaborate with Executive Assistants and office support colleagues nationally, contributing to a consistent and seamless support approach across the organisation.
We have a well-located office at 1 Bligh Street, offering a modern, well serviced environment that’s easy to take pride in.
The role you’ll play
- Managing the day to day operations of the Sydney office, ensuring facilities, meeting rooms and shared spaces are well presented and fully functional
- Working closely with the Office Administration Assistant to maintain a responsive and well run office environment
- Liaising with building management, facilities teams and external contractors to coordinate maintenance, services and general upkeep
- Overseeing office logistics including deliveries, couriers, mail, reception enquiries and general coordination
- Managing office supplies, kitchen and shared resources to ensure they are consistently stocked and maintained
- Supporting workplace health and safety requirements, including first aid coordination, emergency procedures and business continuity activities
- Partnering with IT to ensure meeting rooms and audio visual systems operate reliably
- Coordinating board and internal meetings, ensuring catering and room set up requirements are delivered to a high standard
- Supporting staff events and functions, working with Social Club, DEI and RAP working groups, as well as broader organisational initiatives
- Providing administrative and coordination support to the Manager, Corporate Operations on projects, events and ad hoc tasks
- Preparing office reporting, maintaining documentation and managing expenses, budgets and reconciliations
- Collaborating with Executive Assistants and interstate office teams to ensure consistency in processes and workplace experience
This role is office based, Monday through Friday.
About you
You’re organised, dependable and take pride in running a well presented, efficient, friendly office.
You’re comfortable juggling competing priorities, picking up the detail and stepping in where needed to keep things moving. You’re receptive to feedback and suggestions and able to prioritise effectively, following through with suppliers and facilities teams to ensure issues are resolved.
You also enjoy contributing to a positive office culture, bringing people together for key moments and supporting an inclusive environment where diversity is recognised and celebrated. You also bring a practical mindset and a focus on improving how things are done over time.
You will bring:
- Experience in an Office Manager, Facilities and Administration Lead, Admin Team Leader, Office Experience Manager or similar senior administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Hands on experience across core office operations including meeting coordination, supplier management, invoices and expenses, documentation and reporting
- Experience supporting senior leaders, with the ability to provide EA or PA cover when required
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, building management, external guests and clients and external providers
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence
- Sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to pick up new systems / tech and confidence working across systems
