An exciting opportunity has arisen within the small team at Willoughby Primary School. We are recruiting a new Office Manager for 26 hours per week to start on (or as near to) 1st June 2026. Days and hours of work will be discussed at interview.

We are one of the smallest primary schools in the county, which presents a unique and varied opportunity. We are a friendly, hard-working team where staff, pupils and families know each other very well; children form wonderful friendships and interactions across the whole school; and we offer high-quality learning experiences for the children in our care.

If you are organised, have a strong administrative background, are an excellent communicator and able to work independently we would love to hear from you. The Office Manager is responsible for all aspects of the school office administration including attendance, admissions, finance, health & safety and personnel. An understanding of school’s finance would be beneficial to this position. This is a varied role that is hugely rewarding.

In Return We Can Offer You

  • The opportunity to work with an experienced, friendly and supportive team who have a good sense of humour.
  • Continued professional development.
  • The opportunity to play an active role in the future development of our wonderful village school.

Application forms and further details are available from the school office, or on the school website. Please note CVs will not be accepted. Completed application forms, along with a covering letter, should be emailed to [email protected].

Visits to the school are encouraged, please contact the school office to arrange this.

Applications will be considered on receipt and interviews will be held at an agreed time. We reserve the right to close this advert early.
