Overview
We are a well-established general contracting company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Developer/Office Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong interest in the construction industry, offering hands-on experience in estimating, project management, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in project development by supporting the estimating process and preparing accurate cost estimates.
Coordinate project schedules, materials, and resources to ensure smooth execution.
Track project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in problem resolution.
Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to facilitate project workflows.
Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Assist with bid proposals, contract administration, and compliance requirements.
Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
Maintain office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events.
Skills
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of project estimating is a plus.
Familiarity with construction processes or a background in the industry is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction-related software.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in work.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
