Position: Administrative Assistant

Status: Non-exempt, Part-time

Hourly: $20.00

Work Hours: 22 – 23 hours per week not to exceed 99 in the month. (Workdays will be discussed upon hire.)

Summary: Under the general supervision of the Finance & Payroll Director, the Administrative Assistant will fulfill basic administration duties.

Essential Duties

Greet clients, visitors, and guests, connecting them with the appropriate staff.
Maintain offices to include ordering supplies and contacting building landlords for repairs.
Answer phone calls and connect callers with the appropriate staff.
Receive and distribute mail and deliveries at the Lexington office.
Coordinate and maintain master calendar for activities, meetings, and important due dates to include conference room bookings.
Provide general administrative support including taking meeting minutes, filing, typing, scanning, copying, printing, organizing, mailings, etc. to the admin team, or as directed by them to assist other staff as needed.
Edit/Revise Company Documents when necessary.
Assist with Connecteam, a scheduling software, for SVRC’s on-call shifts.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Finance & Payroll Director and Executive Director.

Qualifications

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
High-level of knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Required completion of a 40-hour training session provided by SVRC and 12-hours of continuing education per year.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance guidelines.
Ability to pass a fingerprint FBI background and reference checks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable & confidential transportation with appropriate level of vehicle insurance.
Willingness to take an intersectional, anti-oppression approach to your work and have a basic understanding of privilege.
Shall not be convicted of a sex crime or convicted as a violent offender per KRS 17.165
