Job Description:

Job Summary: The Stewardship and Reception Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the JPS Foundation, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for donors, visitors, and staff. This role also supports donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgment, engagement, and recognition efforts, to strengthen relationships with the Foundation’s supporters.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

Leads and supports the planning and execution of stewardship activities such as donor recognition events, hospital tours, and personalized engagement experiences, making recommendations to enhance donor retention.

Contributes to the execution and performance tracking of annual giving campaigns by managing outreach materials, maintaining engagement dashboards, and analyzing donor participation trends.

Manages donor benefits and recognition programs, exercising judgment in the timing and nature of appreciation efforts, and tailoring approaches based on donor history and preferences.

Coordinates grateful patient initiatives, strategies, and events the Foundation leads.

Provides logistical support for donor and community events, including coordination of invitations, RSVPs, and materials.

Collaborates with the development team to create donor-focused newsletters, social media updates, and impact reports.

Prepares and interprets reports on donor engagement and stewardship activity, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership to inform fundraising strategy and donor retention efforts.

Provides advanced administrative and project management support to the development team, including calendar oversight, meeting coordination, and preparation of briefing materials for fundraising strategies.

Serves as the first point of contact for high-level donors, stakeholders, and visitors, representing the Foundation with professionalism and discretion.

Oversees front desk operations, including visitor protocols, donor communications, and experience management, ensuring consistent alignment with the Foundation’s brand and engagement strategy.

Manages high-volume inbound/outbound communication channels, triaging inquiries, providing informed responses, and redirecting complex issues to appropriate leadership as needed.

Independently oversees donor acknowledgment workflows, including the development and timely execution of personalized communications, recognition materials, and strategic touchpoints.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or donor relations, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fundraising/Philanthropy, or a related field from an accredited university.
Experience with donor databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce).
