Office Manager/Administrator – Healthcare Or Hospital Jobs in Saint Petersburg, FL at BSA Technology
Assist staff with various projects and administrative duties in the Bureau/Department. Perform basic work activities applicable to the area of assignment, including human resources, technology, finance, research, clerical/administrative, law, and policy. Maintain and manage basic duties, including general office tasks, responding to phone calls and emails, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate records and databases. Assist in organizing events and logistics and managing office supplies, placing orders, and inventory. Consult other staff for complex issues and challenges.
**This is a three-month temporary part-time position.
Minimum Qualifications
Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate degree student in an accredited college or university is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Reside within the boundaries of the 13th district or
Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in an accredited college or university that is within the boundaries of the 13th district.
Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States territories and Canada, must be credentialed by the World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES) member organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of correct business, legal, or other technical language usage and their proper applications to business forms, letters, records, and reports.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Skill in verbal and written communication and ability to gather information from others, make inquiries, convey information, and explain or describe basic office policy and procedure to others in person or via email or telephone.
Skill and accuracy in the organization and maintenance of extensive files.
Skill in exercising sound judgment and ability to use discretion and tact relative to problems or situations involving staff, other offices/agencies, and the general public.
Skill in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
