Full Job Description
Joey Accardi Auto Group is a privately held automotive group with 3 CDJR dealerships – 1 brand new state-of-the-art dealership in Mobile, AL and 2 dealerships in South Florida.
We are looking for a capable hands-on Dealership Office Manager.The office manager will supervise the daily activity of the accounting staff and manage the financial and accounting system for the dealership. This individual’s past work history must exhibit the necessary skill set to handle the day-to-day accounting processes, including some HR/Payroll, inventory, receivables, accounts payable, billing etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with monthly financial statements to ensure completion by deadline set by executive management (with in 4 business days).
Summarize the sales and expense analysis to detect potential areas and opportunities for improved company profitability.
Daily tasks may include: RDR of new cars, closing internals, submitting for rebates, cancellation processing ect…
Monitors factory programs and incentives or Co-op programs for submissions and timely payment to the dealerships.
Work with office staff to ensure timely completion of assigned task (oversee total office staff, including warranty admins and tag & title admins).
Reconcile all accounts, prior to month end.
Complete month-end accounting reports.
Interprets the financial statement and daily operating reports and informs management of developing trends.
Maintains and inspects accounting information for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Review the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and related schedules with outside sources to ensure that all accounts are accurately maintained and properly stated
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years Automotive Dealership Experience, Preferred
Have working knowledge of all responsibilities and functions of each accounting position.
Dealer Track DMS experience, Preferred
Full knowledge of financial statements and all aspects of the automotive Accounting department
Ability to work and communicate with department managers and General Manager in a professional and productive manner.
Experience in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
