Office Manager for the District Administration Office/Board of Education
This position is responsible for supporting multiple administrative and secretarial priorities for the Executive Administration team and Board of
Education
including, but not limited to general office management and reception, district hospitality, supply and curriculum ordering, assessment inventory support, and functions of the secretary to the board. Much of the day-to-day responsibilities include performing secretarial/clerical functions, including front office greeting and phone calls, confidential record keeping and processing, scheduling meetings, and collaborating closely with the Executive Administration and other office staff.

Job Qualifications:
Must be able to speak, read, and understand English
Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
Must hold valid Drivers License
Must maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
Ability to learn and use district-adopted technologies to manage data and to collaborate and communicate with others, within and outside of the district, as pertinent to the position’s responsibilities.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage your own time

Education or formal training:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Technology experience and training required
?5 or more years prior secretarial, office management, or administrative assistant experience at theexecutive level. Higher level ofeducationor training may be substituted for experience.
Terms of Employment:
$20.00/hour or higher per the  Classified Pay Range Schedule. Placement based on experience. May receive up to 10 years experience credit for work within the previous 13 years.
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance per district policy
Primary work is days with some evenings to attend school board meetings
Staff vacation, sick, and personal leave per district policy
This position is that of an “at will” employee. Employment is subject to approval or ratification of a Letter of Employment by the Board ofEducationand may be terminated by either party with or without cause at any time
40 hours per week, approximately 241 days per year, based on work schedule
