Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects by providing administrative and logistical assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist project managers with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Support the front desk operations by greeting visitors and managing inquiries professionally.
Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance to ensure a smooth workflow on-site.
Help with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports as needed.
Facilitate communication between team members and clients when necessary.
Experience
Proven experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with office management practices, including calendar management and clerical support.
Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
