We are a small family law firm located in a beautiful, restored historic building at the edge of downtown Asheville.

Administrative assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of a busy three attorney law office. Supporting attorneys and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication is of primary importance.

Highly valued is the ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. The ability to compose emails with excellent spelling and grammar is essential.

Administrative assistant responsibilities include:

Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule appointments and meetings, maintain calendar
Maintain contact lists
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
Compose professional emails
Maintain a filing system and set up client matters
Order office supplies
Book travel arrangements
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Provide general support to clients and visitors
Provide information by answering questions and requests
Process/submit bank deposits, write checks upon request
