Salary Recruitment Range: $37,782 – $44,000
Salary Grade: NC08
This position currently qualifies for a hybrid telework option with routine office and remote workday. The NC Department of Insurance trusts our employees to be self-motivated and successful in hybrid/remote roles. Telework options are subject to change at the discretion of management.

Primary Purpose of the Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide program development, information technology, training, and technical support for bail bond licensing and testing. The position will oversee creation of test questions, manage the software to create and administer testing, and review audits of tests. The position will review any challenges to a test result and provide a report to the Bail Bond Supervisor on the findings. The position will analysis, research, and make recommendations on any additional technology needed to enhance the licensing process. In addition, the position serves as the Bail Bond Regulatory Division’s liaison to the Division of Information Technology, Third-Party licensing vendors, SBS, GDAC, and NIPR for software, hardware, technical support or project management.

Considerable knowledge of services, policies and procedures related to a program or area of specialization.
Ability to demonstrate and apply this knowledge in performance of administrative tasks; ability to explain and interpret information to clients/customers and staff.
Considerable knowledge of program policies, procedures and information systems in order to communicate and process information.
Ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information; ability to apply knowledge of data collection, storage, organization, manipulation and/or analysis of data.
Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs.
Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups.
Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form; ability to adjust language or terminology to meet the needs of the audience; ability to use correct grammar, organization, and structure.
Experience in computer programing, coding experience and/or Technical Project Management.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Management Preferences:
Management Preferers Computer Science Degree and or Informational Technology experience
