This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

Incoming Mail Operations is looking for a positive individual who values customer service and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Office Services Manager I coordinates and directs the activities of the Incoming Mail Operations; prioritizes and assigns work through subordinate supervisors; directs each subordinate supervisor in specific goals and objectives to create a positive working environment; assists in the selection interview process for all areas of Mail Operations; independently researches and recommends alternatives for equipment improvements and purchases; and meets with vendors to obtain the most efficient and cost effective equipment and supplies.

This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions

Office hours are 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Primarily sedentary for extended periods of time. Operates a computer terminal. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers over the telephone, give presentations; and participate at meetings.
