About the Job
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting clients/visitors as the first point of contact upon arrival; receive incoming calls and forwarding calls to the appropriate department/staff, providing agency related information as appropriate, monitor clients/visitor for safety/security purposes and assist in other general office duties which include: date entry, filing, faxing, photocopying, etc.
Specific Job Duties:
Greet and assist clients/visitors as the first point of contact upon arrival.
Answer incoming calls and forward to the appropriate department, program, and/or staff while demonstrating excellent customer service while promoting a professional business work ethic.
Ascertain the nature of Project IMPACT related business information and convey as appropriate.
Responsible for referring clients and/or new referrals (incoming calls/visitors) to the appropriate program for services.
Distribute routine information to clients, visitors, and staff as required.
May assist transportation services with client information and class schedule to ensure process in completed through completion.
Maintain Active Employee Roster and ensure accuracy of staff name, location, and contact telephone numbers, email address, etc.
Ensure reception are is maintained in a professional and organized fashion at all times.
General office duties which include: date entry, filing, faxing, photocopying, distribution of mail, etc.
May be required to work additional hours and on special projects as needed.
Comply with productivity standards of Project IMPACT.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary to fulfill agency and/or program requirements.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Proficiency in a computer (data entry) database; Experience in MS Word/Excel is preferred.
At least one (1) year general clerical experience in a human services agency helpful.
Ability to work additional days/hours as needed.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
