Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Vehicle Theft Unit sergeant, the Office Technician (Typing) is responsible for the California Replacement Vehicle Identification Number program, the National Crime Information Center validation program, responding to administrative requests from CHP field Divisions and allied agencies, and overseeing and monitoring the 10851 award pin procurement and distribution.

Special Requirements

You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is REQUIREDandMUSTbe submitted with your application to be considered for this position.
