About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a high-growth, global organization seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their finance team. This role offers strong visibility across senior leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, system optimization, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
The organization recently prioritized a major financial systems implementation and is now re-engaging the market for this position. As a result, the search is not behind schedule -rather, it is aligned with the next phase of their finance transformation journey.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for delivering consolidated financial statements and enhancing reporting processes across a global finance organization. The position operates in a highly collaborative environment with dual alignment to Financial Reporting leadership and Controllership, depending on deliverables.
A key focus area will be ongoing OneStream maintenance and reporting optimization, along with supporting a broader transition toward a unified Microsoft 365-based financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes across global entities
- Prepare and support consolidated financial statements and related reporting deliverables
- Maintain and optimize financial reporting structures, hierarchies, and outputs within OneStream
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, FP&A, Tax) to ensure accurate and timely close and reporting cycles
- Support external reporting activities, including earnings materials and regulatory filings
- Act as a key liaison for internal and external auditors
- Oversee administration of financial systems (e.g., access, upgrades, governance)
- Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies across the organization
- Support system-related initiatives, including ongoing enhancements and future-state ERP/reporting transformation
- Collaborate with third-party partners on system integrations and Microsoft 365 enablement
- Develop training materials and lead knowledge-sharing sessions for finance stakeholders
- Manage and develop junior team members
Systems & Tools
- Strong preference for experience with OneStream (implementation, maintenance, or reporting)
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting or participating in system transformations (e.g., D365, Microsoft ecosystem) is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with reporting/BI tools is beneficial
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5–7+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidations, or corporate accounting
- Prior leadership or people management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience in a complex, multi-entity or global organization
- Industry experience with relevant systems exposure is strongly preferred over pure public accounting backgrounds (though both will be considered)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and present to leadership
Compensation & Work Environment
- Base salary target: ~$130K + bonus (flexibility for the right candidate)
- Full-time onsite role with occasional flexibility as needed
- High-visibility position with direct interaction across finance leadership
