Role Description
Killester Travel is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations & Digital Administration Executive to support our growing business during a key period, including Rugby World Cup 2027, Ryder Cup 2027, Six Nations 2027, URC and Champions Cup and ongoing golf tour operations.
This role will provide administrative, operational, and digital support across the business, with a strong focus on social media management, website maintenance, and travel administration.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working across multiple systems, and enthusiastic about sport, travel, and major international events.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Operations
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Killester Travel team
- Assist with booking management for golf and rugby tours
- Liaise with suppliers (hotels, transport providers, venues, partners)
- Maintain accurate customer records and booking documentation
- Support invoicing, confirmations, and travel documentation
- Assist with client communications before and during tours
- General office and operational support as required
Major Event Support (RWC 2027, Six Nations 2027 & Ryder Cup 2027)
- Assist with operational planning and administration for Rugby World Cup 2027 packages
- Support Ryder Cup 2027 travel operations and customer coordination
- Help manage timelines, rooming lists, transport schedules, and supplier information
- Provide administrative support during peak event periods
Social Media Management
- Assist in planning and scheduling social media content (Instagram, Facebook, X/LinkedIn as required)
- Create basic posts, captions, and updates promoting tours and events
- Monitor engagement and respond to basic enquiries (with guidance)
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and posting schedule
Website Maintenance
- Assist with updating website content (tour information, dates, pricing, imagery, blogs)
- Ensure event and tour information is accurate and up to date
- Upload news, offers, and promotional content
- Liaise with external web developers if technical issues arise
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with websites and content management systems (e.g. WordPress or similar)
- Familiarity with social media platforms for business use
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Interest in or knowledge of golf and/or rugby
- Experience in travel, tourism, events, or sports administration
- Graphic or content creation skills
- Experience working with booking or CRM systems
