Working Hours– Full-time, Permanent role, Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm

I am currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join a well-respected firm based on the outskirts of Avonmouth. This will suit a proactive, self-motivated, resilient candidate with an Operations Coordinator/Administration background to support an overseas team.

The Role

To assist with the organisation and administration of all aspects of the engineering, packing and logistics projects to ensure their complete and efficient operation including travel co-ordination. To provide professional administrative support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Co-ordination and monitoring of projects and other relevant administration; sourcing service providers, contractors and suppliers; obtaining quotes; and dealing with problems

Ensuring all work runs in a timely, cost-effective manner within budgets and timescales

Placing orders with suppliers; making arrangements in relation to monitoring all relevant deliverables

Preparing required job documentation including job step risk analysis

Job cost allocation and invoicing

Finding and arranging appropriate travel for individuals within budget constraints; communicating travel information to travellers

Preparing, submitting and managing visa applications

Providing general administrative support to the business

Accurately contributing to month end procedures

May be required to complete other business activities on behalf of the company from time to time in line with identified skills, competencies and experience

Key Attributes of the Operations Coordinator:

Comfortable working autonomously

IT literate, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

Experience with co-ordinating travel arrangements preferred

Experience of managing multiple task-based projects would be desirable but not essential
