Our client, a well-established leader in high-end residential, multi-family, and commercial construction, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join their team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth project delivery through accurate documentation, cross-functional coordination, and support of project and accounting operations. Location: Burnaby, BC

Expected Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and document control support across multiple construction projects
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including files, logs, drawings, and specifications
  • Track project milestones, schedules, and key financial deadlines
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record and distribute minutes
  • Enter and manage project data within project control and management systems
  • Support Accounts Payable and Receivable data entry in collaboration with the Accounting Manager
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and assist with procurement activities
  • Coordinate and track material orders, deliveries, and labour across job sites
  • Act as a primary point of contact, communicating updates with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements and provide general administrative support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist with other related duties, as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of administrative and/or project coordination experience
  • Experience in construction services or a related industry is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of office procedures and administrative best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and MS Project
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a process-driven approach to work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet project timelines
