Performs applicable clerical duties and entry/moderate level control tasks in support of various functions in the Operations Detail department.
Who You Are:
Professional, well-developed written and oral communication skills emphasizing the ability to correspond effectively with proper English grammar.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work cooperatively and politely with outside parties, members, and co-workers.
Basic mathematical requirements required with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a requirement.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changes in the workflow by managing competing demands and dealing with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for accurately filing Operations-related documents, inputting, and scanning data into records database, and preparing correspondence. Makes copies, sends faxes and emails, replenishes supplies, and handles routine office tasks.
Demonstrates the ability to be trained on and to develop a strong standard of various credit union policies, procedures, and services as they apply to their work-related duties.
Ensures that member privacy is maintained at a high level while monitoring for fraudulent and deceptive practices.
Answers calls and takes messages from members and other employees when they have Operations related questions and ensures correspondence from CFCU departments is returned in a timely manner.
Reports to the appropriate Credit Union official if unusual, fraudulent, or suspicious account activity is observed.
Acts in compliance with rules, regulations, and statutory requirements regarding member accounts. Focusing on aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and proper reporting procedures.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned and demonstrates the ability to complete all duties in a timely manner.
Education and Qualifications:
At least one year experience required in a clerical or support position.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job required.
