CBD is seeking an Operations Manager to join the team and manage the overall administrative functions and workflow of the department. This involves supervising a diverse team, which may include administrative assistants, coordinators, and potentially executive assistants, providing guidance, training, and delegating tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The position also entails a range of HR-related duties from managing the annual review process, handling hiring and onboarding procedures, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures within the department. Furthermore, this role oversees the immigration process for incoming staff, faculty, and visitors, including visa processing, and ensuring the timely submission and approval of timesheets for all staff and students.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Manage faculty support team of administrative assistants.

Monitor productivity, including provisional period reviews and disciplinary issues.

Negotiate interpersonal conflicts in the workplace.

HR related work including onboarding, visas, student worker hiring, staff and faculty hiring.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3-5 years of experience in administrative support.

Experience working in higher education.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.

A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
