Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks an Operations Support Specialist who will support the Tank Farm Project (TFP) Project Management organization. The Operations Support Specialist will support the Project Management Office team to integrate Project Management processes and tools within the Tank Farm Projects organization and other Tank Operations Contractor (TOC) functional organization processes to aid in providing a framework for project execution. This process ensures each project will engage with relevant programs and processes at the proper time, implement requirements consistent with approved graded approach, and establish and Integrated Project Team (IPT) reflective of each program’s requirements. The Operations Support Specialist will interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Project Controls, Interface Management, Business Services, Retrieval Projects, Tank Farms Projects, Information Technology, Contracts, Risk Management, Operations, Waste Feed Delivery and others as addressed in Project Management Office tools.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage/support development and maintenance of the Project Manager development, training, and qualification programs;

Coordinate and schedule project management training classes. Maintain training program files, materials, tracking of qualification card completion, required training and attendance;

Support periodic assessment of Project Management Office procedures and programs to ensure they are up to date and compliant;

Develop and process Project Management Office procedure changes;

Support administration of site/department programs, groups, committees, ensuring proper tracking, posting, completion, timeliness of responses and electronic maintenance, including but not limited to the Required Reading Program and Employee Accident Prevention Council (EAPC) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP);

Prepare and development reports; compiles and analyzes data for reports and provides presentation of findings;

Support development and administration of an Action Tracking program to successfully capture administrative tasks and assures their documented and timely completion. Provides tracking and trending of Action Tracking data. Supports development and maintenance of internal Performance Metrics charts and reports;

Maintain and supports Corrective Action Management (CAM)/Integrated Contractor Assurance (iCAS) program implementation; monitors and tracks actions in iCAS;

Act as a records liaison for the organization and company records program. Ensure accurate record keeping; maintains records in accordance with applicable Records Inventory and Disposition Schedules (RIDS);

Develop content and maintains organization’s webpage information; and

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Grade 13:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
