Position Summary:
The Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to departmental staff. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent time management skills, and maintain a warm, respectful, and welcoming approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to case managers, judges, and staff within the diocesan tribunal.
Respond promptly to incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails correspondence.
Manage all incoming and outgoing physical mail correspondence.
Review, organize, and process case-related paperwork and documentation.
Scan and copy documents for accurate physical and digital filing and record-keeping.
Create, edit, and secure Adobe PDFs and Microsoft Office documents.
Assist with the systematic archiving and retrieval of tribunal documents as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
An associate’s degree or an equivalent level of relevant experience required.
1 to 3 years of professional administrative experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and manipulation.
Strong aptitude for learning and utilizing various technology and software applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
Employment is contingent upon applicants satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
Completion of Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training is required upon hire.
