Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Manager to manage our bookkeeping, payroll, bill payments, and administrative operations. This is an in-person, part-time role based in a Caldwell home office (a professional, well-equipped environment). The position offers flexible hours and long-term growth potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Manage QuickBooks for accounts payable/receivable, job costing, and reporting
Handle biweekly payroll and subcontractor/vendor payments
Monitor and manage cash flow, bills, and company expenses
Coordinate insurance documents, compliance forms, and renewals
Maintain organized digital and paper files for ongoing jobs
Support the business owner with basic administrative tasks and scheduling

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
Familiarity with payroll and general bookkeeping processes
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Professional, dependable, and discreet
Experience in construction or subcontracting industries is a plus (not required)

Job Details:

Job Type: Part-time (15–20 hours/week to start)
Schedule: Flexible weekday hours (Mon–Fri only)
Compensation: $30 per hour
Location: In-person, Caldwell, NJ (home office)
