Schedule:
This position will be five days per week, in person with work from home consideration at 90 days.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling: Assisting with developing project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays.
Material Ordering and Procurement: Ordering materials, tracking returns, and updating vendor pricing as needed.
Help with obtaining permits and scheduling inspections
Scheduling Miss Utility
Follow up on client property plats
Register client warranties
Data Entry and Reporting: Maintaining databases, tracking project information, and preparing reports and communications.
Handle special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a professional way
Skill Requirements:
Strong organizational skills: Managing multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Good communication skills: Excellent execution skills, highly focused task completion, follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
Proficiency in computer software: Familiarity with Salesforce (Preferred), Microsoft Office (Required)
Ability to multitask and handle a high paced environment
Positive outlook, desire to support and interact with others daily in an exciting, challenging, and ever-changing work environment
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude; great team-player and ability to accept feedback.
Must exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations.
Experience:
Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in the construction industry.
High School degree, additional training is a plus, specifically in computer/software.
Associate’s degree or more is desirable in construction or construction engineering related fields.
Familiarity with working in a technical environment
Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred but will consider a motivated beginner
Effective computer skills
Compensation & benefits:
Starting salary range: $55,000-$65,000
Performance-based incentive program at 90 days
Potential salary increase at 90-day review
