Provides high level of customer service by:
o Greets and welcomes all patients and visitors
o Ensures all patients are registered and “arrived”
o Patients requiring assistance are provided assistance as needed
o Keeps a clean work area to represent the professional image of Inland Imaging
o Schedule walk-in patient exams
Prepares paperwork for patient exams in advance, including add ons, and give the paperwork to appropriate modality
Linking orders to patient exams
Identify patient orders
Call referring offices to obtain orders not found
Work with all departments to ensure smooth patient flow and care
Answer phones, retrieve messages and assist callers
Generates reports as requested by referring provider offices
Burns patient exams and reports onto CD’s to be given to patients and referring provider offices
Locates and obtains previous related films for upcoming appointments
Push images from Isite to other medical facilities
Performs other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma/GED required
Experience: One year of clerical experience desired
o Communication and interpersonal skills
o Anatomy and medical terminology – preferred
o Medical office experience preferred
o Understanding of all procedures to be read by radiologist – preferred
Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook, Meditech; Stentor; 21
This a full time day position, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Must speak speak Spanish
Medical office experience and Medical terminology preferred.Show more
