Patient Care Coordinator
position in our
Chapel Hill, North Carolina
location.
This is a Full-Time In-Person position – 40 hours per week.
Schedule
:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Compensation:
$18.00 – $23.00 per hour
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in a healthcare environment
Excellent organizational skills
Outstandingcommunicationand people skills
Strongproblem-solvingand critical-thinking skills
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
Establish productive, professional relationships with patients and staff to address concerns
Help patients with accessing the patient portal, resetting passwords, and facilitating access via in-person or remote support
Finalize registration for new patients and confirm receipt of consent to treat documents
Verify and collect patient payment due at time of service
Collect outstanding patient balances as applicable
Update patient insurance information as needed in the patient chart
Assist in resolving patient insurance eligibility issues, SCAN/upload documents to patient charts
Update and schedule patient appointments with providers as needed
Answer phones, assist with scheduling, refill requests or medication concerns
Regularly review patient lists to monitor attendance at appointments, perform outreach to patients not seen, and ensure the next visit scheduled
Support clinicians as needed
