Compass Oncology – the largest privately-owned Cancer Care and Research Facility in the Pacific Northwest – is looking for aPatient Care Coordinatorwith high level customer service skills. While having medical office experience is a good place to start, we are looking for individuals that have the heart for service, are eager tolearn and growwith an organization who values service, excellence andrespect.
Salary Range:$19.17-$27.71 Per Hour
** Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise as well as internal employee equity considerations.
Job Scope:Under general supervision, serves as a Care Coordinator in scheduling a variety of patient appointments; office visits, lab appointments, chemotherapy appointments and tests as indicated by the Provider. May include outside scheduling and the coordination of outside referrals. Serves as a resource and liaison between patient and other medical staff. Answers incoming calls, triages calls appropriately to the correct department/healthcare provider.
Accuracy, efficiency, and excellent time management is crucial as a Patient Care Coordinator. Familiar with standard medical concepts and medical office practices. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards
