Join the opening team at Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll, cash management, banking transactions, and statutory compliance. As a Paymaster & General Cashier, you will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, delivering timely payroll services, and upholding Hilton’s financial control standards.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all Team Members.
  • Administer service charge, tips, commissions, allowances, benefits, and payroll deductions.
  • Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and employee e-payslips.
  • Coordinate with the People & Culture team to ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance.

Cashiering & Banking Operations

  • Manage daily cash collections, cashier reconciliations, and bank deposits.
  • Maintain General Cashier records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
  • Control petty cash funds, cashier floats, and reimbursement processes.
  • Perform cash balancing and support periodic cash audits and surprise cash counts.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare payroll-related journal vouchers and account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit statutory payments and reports, including Social Security, Provident Fund, and Withholding Tax.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and local regulations.

Pre-Opening & Administrative Support

  • Assist in establishing payroll and cashiering procedures for the hotel opening.
  • Support banking administration and online payment processes.
  • Coordinate the renewal of operational licenses and government-related requirements.
  • Assist the Director of Finance with special projects, audits, and operational initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in Payroll, General Cashier, or Finance within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, cash handling, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with hotel finance or payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Pre-opening hotel experience is preferred.
  • A collaborative team player with a passion for accuracy and service excellence.
