Payroll Administrator

The Payroll Administrator performs all activities necessary to process multiple payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and accounting transactions with efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll for approximately 80 hourly, salaried and commissioned employees.

Track and deduct all garnishments and other payroll deductions.

Ensure payroll adheres to FLSA and federal/state/local regulations.

Administer the electronic timekeeping system; setup each employee in a timely manner and work with store management to ensure employees are clocking in/out.

Work with Human Resources to ensure the proper flow and maintenance of employee data.

Ensure valid data transfers to/from financial institutions.

Prepare payroll-related management reports.

Core Requirements

3-5 years’ experience processing multiple payrolls preferred.

Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency. Microsoft Excel is a must.

Desire to provide exceptional customer service to all levels of employees.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.

Stable employment history.
