The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement, Corporate Services Branch is seeking a self motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills as Purchase Card Administrator to manage the cardholder programs for the ministry.

The successful candidate will maintain user profiles, spreadsheets and cardholder files and monitor card transactions to ensure they are reconciled and approved within policy. You will maintain communication with cardholders, approvers, drivers, vehicle coordinators, internal and external auditors, the Program Administrator with the Ministry of Finance and the program’s service provider. Your problem solving skills will be required in order to resolve issues and problems that occur daily. You will train new cardholders to ensure they receive information and understand card limits, policies, and practices required by the program.

You will be responsible for accurately referencing, applying and clearly explaining relevant and applicable policies, procedures and issues to both internal and external stakeholders.

To qualify for this position, interested applicants should be able to demonstrate their public speaking skills and possess proven written and oral communication skills.

Typically the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be gained through Office management and/or Accounting education with a good appreciation of accounts payable standards and operations and or related progressive work experience in an administrative environment.
