Salary: £25,240 – £33,715 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to join our admin team and provide diary support for the Documentary Commissioning Editors. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for our content to work alongside our Commissioning Coordinators and other PA’s as a crucial part of our team.

Main Responsibilities

PA’s must be proactive and flexible to support every aspect of the Commissioning process. You will have a rigorous attention to detail and be willing to turn your hand to any administrative challenge.

PA’s also need to develop a good understanding of where the Commissioning teams sit within BBC Content and develop strong working relationships with external suppliers and internal departments.

We expect PA’s to work well in a team and be willing to support other PA and CC colleagues both within the genre and more widely in the department.

Are you the right candidate?

Experience of Personal Assistant, Diary Management or similar role to senior level managers

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.

Evidence of ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and externally including working within a team of PA’s.

Ability to use own initiative; be proactive and manage own time and workload.

Experience of organising multiple diaries, working to multiple people balancing individual priorities

High attention to detail and significant practical experience of gathering, analysing, collating complex and confidential information. Including managing sensitive information.
