About The Role
As a Planning Team Administrator, you'll be responsible for scheduling and supporting engineers across your designated area. You'll ensure diaries are efficiently managed, service levels are maintained, and operational issues are resolved quickly to deliver a first-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and route service calls to maximise engineer productivity and efficiency
- Manage and fill engineer diaries across employed, partner, and subcontractor networks
- Handle in-day queries from engineers via phone and email
- Control and process overtime (radicals), ensuring accurate payments
- Allocate the correct engineer skillset and time for each job
- Liaise with Regional Service Managers to resolve operational issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the engineer network
- Monitor service levels and ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved
- Identify and escalate performance concerns where required
- Record and maintain accurate data for reporting purposes
- Work closely with Service Desk and Warehouse teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
- Confident communicator across phone, email, and face-to-face
- Calm and resilient under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Problem-solver with the ability to think outside the box
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Flexible approach to working hours when required
- Target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs
- IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook essential)
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Prior experience in a field service planning/scheduling role would be an advantage
