No prior experience in AI is required—your expertise in Brazilian Portuguese and language annotation is what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate, label, and review Brazilian Portuguese language data for AI and machine learning applications.
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and quality across all annotation and data curation tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on language standards, annotation guidelines, and project objectives.
- Provide expert feedback on language usage, translations, terminology, and data quality.
- Document annotation processes and recommend workflow improvements to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Participate in team discussions, sharing insights on Brazilian Portuguese language nuances and regional variations.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of language resources that support AI model training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and fluency in English.
- Demonstrated experience in language data annotation, labeling, localization, or related language processing work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Brazilian Portuguese grammar, syntax, spelling, and regional language variations.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience collaborating with distributed or multicultural teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in linguistics, language studies, translation, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting AI, machine learning, localization, or natural language processing projects.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 – $65.00 per hour
