Overview of the Position:
The Practice Administrator (PA) will serve as a senior manager for the company, responsible for operational oversight of the site. Serves and manages the site with support from the Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations (OAVP) and other members of the management team. A key function of the PA role is to work towards and meet the goals set forth by OAVPs / Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which will align with the HopeHealth’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or health sciences preferred
The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and/or leadership experience in a health-related field.
Must possess a valid SC driver’s license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various sites as needed.

Must have strong interpersonal and networking skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to plan, organize, coordinate, implement, evaluate, and assist with program activities.
Must be able to lead, manage, supervise, and hold accountable a diverse staff.
Must have excellent supervisory and management skills.
Must have advanced computer skills and be able to interpret and use data for guiding program decisions.
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members/caregivers, and/or guests to answer questions and address needs.
Must maintain all requirements as outlined by the organization’s policy and other regulatory bodies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has supervisory oversight for the program and staff as assigned:
Office Manager
Staff Nurse
Medical Assistant
Other clinical and non-clinical staff as assigned
Essential Job Functions:
Provides leadership to support the delivery of HopeHealth’s clinical services:
Provides leadership to move the organization towards completion of its mission and goals.
Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of Hope’s strategic plan.
Collaborates with upper management to solve problems and meet challenges that are presented to the company.
Attends regular company meetings to include medical team meetings, quality workgroups and company board meetings as needed.
Holds all clinical office staff accountable. Responsible for motivating and training staff, providing incentives when appropriate, and taking disciplinary action as needed.
Oversees the provision of all services in the site.
Understands and monitors site budgets, quality metrics, reporting, and evaluation.
Attends a variety of community meetings and trainings, as necessary.
Maintains knowledge of community resources and means to access services as well as strong relationships with community service providers.
Perform monthly coaching sessions with all staff members who are directly supervised and provide evaluations as outlined.
Handle patient concern(s) effectively, communicate with supervisors and other team members as appropriate, elevate concerns to Practice Administrator or other leadership if needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Vision and hearing corrected to within normal limits is required. Must have manual dexterity to key in data; utilize computer, grab, grip, hold, tear, cut, sort, and reach.
