We are partnering with a leading Malaysia beverage manufacturer, specializing in bottled water and beverages and is expanding their operations. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Procurement Executive to support sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute sourcing and procurement activities based on approved specifications and business requirements.
- Review supplier quotations and contracts to ensure compliance with quality, technical, and commercial standards.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, delivery, service level, and overall value.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with local and international suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
- Source new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure materials and services meet required standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and support improvement initiatives where necessary.
- Issue Purchase Orders and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Prepare and analyze periodic supplier performance reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
- Familiar with RFQ, price comparison, PO issuance, and ERP systems.
- Proficient in Excel and procurement documentation processes.
- Exposure to audit, compliance, or documentation control is an advantage.
