We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Procurement Officer to play a key role in delivering efficient and value-driven procurement outcomes across the organization. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities while leading and supporting special projects that contribute to the achievement of our business objectives.
You will be responsible for ensuring procurement practices are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with company standards, while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting initiatives and enhancing procurement performance across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The core functions of the position are as follows but not limited to:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with the Bank's procurement policies and procedures.
- Process purchase requisitions, obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, and prepare purchase orders.
- Source and engage suppliers while maintaining strong working relationships with existing vendors.
- Conduct vendor due diligence and support the onboarding of new suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
- Monitor procurement commitments, supplier performance, and expenditure against approved budgets.
- Support procurement reporting, compliance activities, and internal or external audits.
- Provide procurement advice and support to business units and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- A professional procurement qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- At least 2–3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or business administration.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work well with different stakeholders and maintain confidentiality.
