Production & Administrative Assistant (Remote) Jobs in United Kingdom at ELEMENT ANIMATION
Title: Production & Administrative Assistant (Remote)
Company: ELEMENT ANIMATION
Location: United Kingdom
We are ELEMENT ANIMATION, a small but mighty studio known for creating character-driven stories packed with humour and heart. We create animated content for millions of our own audience, for commercial projects and for global events. Our videos are watched all around the world and we’ve grown a following in multiple countries. We’re passionate about storytelling, comedy, and pushing the boundaries of what a small team can do with big ideas.
We’re looking for a sharp, calm, and highly organised Production & Admin Assistant to join our team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Role Overview:
This is a bit of an all-rounder role. Some days you’ll be coordinating interviews, filing contracts, or responding to fan messages. Other days you’ll be sitting in on creative meetings, taking notes while everyone else goes off on tangents about very specific but bizarre subjects.
You’ll help us stay on top of the small-but-important things – making sure we don’t miss deadlines, misplace paperwork, or forget to post the job ad we meant to put up a week ago.
You’ll work closely with the directors to handle studio admin, support the hiring process, keep projects ticking along, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a remote role, so you’ll need to be self-motivated and good at communicating via Slack and email.
This position runs until the end of September to start with, but there’s a possibility of extending beyond that depending on how things develop.
Key Responsibilities:
General admin support (emails, reminders, document filing, calendar bits, etc.)
Join creative meetings to take notes and help keep track of tasks
Assist with hiring: posting roles, organising submissions, scheduling interviews
Help handle onboarding documents and contracts (no legal knowledge needed)
Support social media posts and fan interactions (not as the voice—just behind the curtain)
Keep track of to-do lists and remind people of things they forgot were on them
Help coordinate the occasional voiceover or studio logistics
Light assistance with payroll processing (not doing the maths, just helping coordinate)
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
Are calm, organised, and love helping others work better
Have excellent communication skills
Enjoy working behind the scenes and keeping everything running smoothly
Are comfortable with Slack, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), and online tools
Are happy to sit in meetings and keep track of what needs doing afterward
Can take initiative and anticipate what needs to happen before being asked
Understand internet culture, gaming culture or animation (a bonus, but not essential)
Aren’t flustered by juggling a few different tasks across the week
Can work independently and manage your time remotely
Perks of Working with Us:
100% Remote Work
A mix of admin and light creative involvement
A small, friendly team who appreciate initiative and kindness
Your work will support projects seen by millions of people
Potential to grow into a longer-term role, depending on upcoming projects
How to Apply:
Send an email to [email protected] and include:
A short note about yourself and why this role interests you
A CV or summary of relevant experience (admin, assistant, production, etc.)
A few lines about what kind of projects you enjoy or where you feel most useful
Your general availability and rates
Bonus: any past experience supporting creative teams or productions
Bonus bonus: You’ll stand out so much more if you manage to make us laugh with your application. No pressure, but if you’ve got a funny bone, don’t be afraid to show it.
If you’ve sent us an application before, please feel free to send another in for this one. And if you have questions about the role, feel free to get in touch – we’d love to hear from you
