WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an experienced administrator who can hit the ground running. This position will support accounting and HR functions, take full ownership of their tasks with little supervision, and provide great customer service internally and externally. A good fit for this position will be someone who is comfortable in a fast paced environment, has a positive attitude, displays solid judgement and thoughtful decision making, and anticipates the needs of others. Should have strong attention to detail, deliver quality work, and be resourceful in figuring things out on their own.

RESPONSIBILITIES

30% Office & Facilities Support

First point of contact, providing top notch service to everyone that calls or enters the office
Answer/screen calls, provide knowledgeable answers about company operations and policies, and route appropriately when needed
Order and organize all office supplies
Maintain office appearance and cleanliness
Help cultivate a positive working environment
Provide administrative support to leadership

30% Accounting Support

Enter invoices into Quickbooks, charging all expenses to the correct account and class codes
Work with vendors to investigate charges, as requested
Provide support to billing team by entering drivers’ tickets into a tracking spreadsheet, as needed

30% HR Support

Help with driver recruitment, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and new employee onboarding
Support tasks related to safety & DOT compliance

10% Fleet Tracking

Maintain truck and trailer list, maintaining current vehicle registrations, titles, and asset list with insurance company
Request insurance changes
Handle administrative process for new vehicle and equipment purchases and sales

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a professional office setting required
Great verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to be resourceful and work with little or no supervision
Experience and working knowledge of Google Drive (spreadsheets and word)
Experience working in a fast paced environment and managing competing priorities
Positive attitude, solution oriented
“Whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude
Familiarity with Quickbooks
Prior experience in trucking, construction, or related industry preferred by not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.08 – $22.00 per hour
