Location: New York

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative, logistical and strategic support to the Program Manager and Program Coordinator in planning and implementing Anne Shore Sleep-Away Camp Program (ASC) and Holiday Sleep-Away Programs (T/HSAP)
Process ASC member applications, to include verifying eligibility, data entry, managing documents and spreadsheets and assisting members.
Conduct outreach to members, to include creating educational and promotional communications with corresponding outreach lists.
Organize, schedule and participate in educational and promotional events, to include the creation of materials, procuring supplies, outreach and the coordination of member attendance.
Act as the primary point of contact to members with children who have special needs/circumstances and screen Independent Camp Program document submissions for accuracy in accordance with ASC guidelines.
Assist the Program Manager and Program Coordinator with provider evaluations, to include conducting site visits, evaluating survey results and participating in annual debrief/planning meetings.
Troubleshoot and respond to program-related inquiries.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, Funds and external partners.
Communicate effectively and collaboratively with internal staff, leadership and external partners in a professional manner.
Maintain the confidentiality required by the organization and the department.
Follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Personal Health Information (PHI) requirements and regulations.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum three (3) years administrative experience required.
Basic skill level in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Presentation and public speaking skills desired.
Must be organized and detail oriented with a demonstrated effectiveness multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in a role requiring continual attention to detail.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours, some weekends and evenings required.
