Role Summary
The Program Assistant Intern is the operational backbone of every ASSAI program batch. This role ensures classes run smoothly from start to finish — from a clear rundown, to materials being readily available for participants, to prize disbursements reaching the right winners. Beyond hands-on exposure to Indonesia's AI education ecosystem, the intern will be mentored to build operational skills relevant to the tech industry: project coordination, stakeholder communication, and event execution. This role is a great fit for university students or fresh graduates who are detail-oriented, quick on their feet, comfortable working behind the scenes, and understand that participant experience is built from the small things that go unnoticed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the class rundown for every session, ensuring smooth flow across segments, speakers, and Q&A.
- Coordinate with trainers and hosts before each class to align on roles and session logistics.
- Collect, review, and distribute all class materials to participants through the designated channels ahead of each session.
- Serve as the first point of contact for participant inquiries before, during, and after class, escalating where needed.
- Back up all class assets (materials, recordings, playlists) and stay on-call throughout the session to address issues on the ground.
Qualifications
Required
- Active university student (minimum 4th semester) or fresh graduate from any major.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with checklists/SOPs.
- Clear, friendly written communication in both Indonesian and English.
- Familiar with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets), Zoom, WhatsApp, and at least one e-wallet.
- Available to be on-call during class schedules, including weekends when required, since our events are mostly outside of working hours. You can take a day off as a replacement.
- Based in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and able to attend offline sessions at the venue in Pejaten.
- Able to commit to at least one full program batch (duration confirmed during onboarding).
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in campus organizations, event committees, or operational/community internships.
- Genuine interest in AI, data, or the tech education ecosystem.
